Move Facility Data
 
There may be an occurrence where a facility (arena) has been shut down and you must deal with the issues quickly.
Associations have experienced fires, chemical dangers, or strikes, which deem facilities unavailable for extended periods.
If you were able to access to an alternate location for the booking of these events then this would be a recommended action. First create or add the new facility if it is not already in your database. Then you may move all scheduled events from one facility to the new facility. It may that you have your new facility is a “HOLDING” area or HOLDING Facility for all the events that need to be rescheduled due to this emergency.

There may not be enough time to reschedule each event. You may then choose to use this tool to move all events at one to this new facility. This process will move ALL events scheduled at that Facility.

To MOVE FACILITY DATA from the XSport menu toolbar (toolbar: Is the menu bar at the top of the main screen with the buttons and options that you use to carry out commands.)
1.        Select the Tools option from the menu.
2.        Select the Move Facility Data option from the submenu.
3.        Choose the Facility FROM where the events need to be moved.
4.        Choose the Facility to where ALL events need to be moved.
5.        Once a season has been selected then name For the Archived Database will take on the following format
AR_<SEASON ID>
6.        Move Data Succeeded. Click OK.
7.        Click the Close Button.

Tip
 After data has been moved be sure to sure to go back and recheck for conflicts.
