Welcome to Registration for Waterloo Girls Minor Hockey 2008-2009

WGMHA offers a variety of hockey programs.

The Waterloo Ravens Girls House League (H/L) Program provides girls the opportunity to play recreational hockey within the Kitchener House League. All Waterloo Ravens House League teams are guaranteed a minimum of 37 ice times per season. This includes home and away regular season and playoff games, practice times and three Jason Cripps Tournament games. All teams will play in the Waterloo Cup at the end of the season. All teams shall be given additional ice throughout the season depending upon ice availability. Teams that advance in the Cripps tournament and playoffs shall receive additional ice as well. Fees prior to Sept. 1, 2008 are $400. Out of city residents please add $125. (includes GST)

The Waterloo Ravens Representative Level (AA, A, BB, B , C Programs) provides players competitive hockey play within the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League(LLFHL) This level of play requires additional fees, travel, and time. Teams have a regular and playoff schedules and participate in OWHA sanctioned tournaments. Players must attend tryouts for Rep play. Registration fees need to be paid in FULL by September 1st, 2008 in order to participate in Fall tryouts - NO EXCEPTIONS

The Waterloo Midas Ravens Rookie Program is designed to teach players the fundamentals of the game. The program is non-competitive and the emphasis is on FUN! This program is for girls 5-7 years of age and the cost is $100 per player. Includes GST. Space is limited to 55 players.

NEW FOR THIS SEASON:

Rep Tryout Passes will be sold online only. They will be sold from June 1 until noon Monday August 25, 2008. There will be no Rep Tryout Passes available for sale at the door. After registering please ensure that you purchase your Tryout Pass by going here. Out of town players trying out for Tier 1 teams are required to purchase a rep tryout pass online as well.

For those that wish to enhance their hockey skills we are once again offering a program called Powerskills . This program is open only for players who register with WGMHA for other hockey programs. After you have completed your registration go here to add this program to your players profile.

Early Bird Registration for the 2008-2009 season will begin June 1 and end midnight August 31, 2008.

Registration will reopen September 2, 2008, at regular prices for divisions that can accomodate additional players.
